Agnes Ogletree Of Wireless Philadelphia Is Newest Addition To GPTMC’s Board

The Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation (GPTMC) today announced that Agnes Marie Ogletree will join its Board of Directors, effective immediately. A longtime tourism industry professional, Ogletree opened the first five-star bed and breakfast in Pennsylvania in 1999, the Rittenhouse Square Bed & Breakfast, now known as the Rittenhouse 1715 and under new ownership. Today, in addition to her work at Wireless Philadelphia, Ogletree raises funds for the Marian Anderson Awards Gala, the Breast Cancer Health Institute and the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center. In 2008, she was named one of the 100 Most Powerful Women by the Philadelphia chapter of the NAACP.

“As a former B&B operator, Agnes Ogletree brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our board,” said Manuel N. Stamatakis, chairman, GPTMC Board of Directors. “We are pleased to have her, and we’re looking forward to her contributions.”
