Philadelphia Zoo
Young animal lovers are enthralled by a giraffe roaming the African Plains at the 42-acre Philadelphia Zoo. Founded in 1874, it is the nation’s oldest zoo and many of the buildings retain its authentic Victorian-era charm. The zoo houses more than 1,300 animals, many of which are rare or endangered species.
