Re-enactment of Washington Crossing the Delaware

Re-enactment of Washington Crossing the Delaware

General George Washington crossed the Delaware River on December 25, 1776, to launch his decisive attack on enemy forces in Trenton. Today, historical re-enacters faithfully recreate the event each year at Washington Crossing Historic Park, located about an hour north of Philadelphia.
